Water is its element!

As a result of application of water-cooled condensers, units in the GWC and GLWC series are distinguished by structural design that is more compact than the air-cooled series. As a result, they optimally fit into their installation site, since water-cooled chillers have been designed only for indoor installation.

In these ranges of models, plate heat exchangers are employed both as condensers and as evaporators in the smaller and medium performance ranges. In units in the higher performance ranges (up to 2,749 kW), shell and tube heat exchangers are used as condensers and evaporators.

These units have already been optimized with respect to noise-emission behavior. However, some units are also optionally available with additional sound-insulation cladding in order to avoid any disturbing noise inside buildings, shop floors, and halls. In medium and high performance ranges, these units are also available with heat-pump functions.
