Water-cooled Chillers and Heat pumps for Indoor Installation

Water is its element!

Compared to the air-cooled units, the chillers of the GLWC series are distinguished by their highly compact design and suitability for connection to a heat-rejection unit. Therefore the units can also be brought into the building through small openings without difficulty. The removed heat can be recovered through hydraulic circuits and used for other processes.

In order to avoid irritating noise pollution within buildings and halls, the already super low noise units can optionally also be fitted out with additional sound-insulation cladding.

All water-cooled units are also available as heat pump model. Depending on unit series, the switch over is effected via an integrated 4-way valve in 2-pipe model or hydraulically as 4-pipe system.

    General:

    - Highly efficient model with flooded evaporator

    Refrigeration circuit:

    - High-efficiency optimized model with 1 or 2 screw compressors
    - One screw compressor each per refrigerant circuit for best possible redundancy
    - Screw compressor with continuously variable capacity control for constant water outlet temperatures

    - Equipped with 2 or 4 scroll compressors in tandem design

    - Electronic pressure sensor for high and low pressure

    Hydraulics:

    - Optional hydraulic module for chilled water and heat-rejection water circuit with standard or inverter pump
    - Water pumps available in two power output levels
    - 1 or 2 water pumps for redundant operation with with automatically timed switch-over or in the event of a pump malfunction
